RT-qPCR Instrument Description

DNA Extraction: The DNA of interest is extracted from the sample, such as blood, tissue, or food, using various extraction methods.
PCR Reaction Setup: The extracted DNA is mixed with specific primers (short DNA sequences that bind to the target DNA) and a DNA polymerase enzyme. Fluorescent probes or dyes may also be added to enable real-time detection.

Amplification: The Quantitative Real-Time PCR System reaction mixture is subjected to a series of temperature cycles in a thermal cycler. These cycles involve denaturation (heating to separate the DNA strands), annealing (cooling to allow the primers to bind to the target DNA), and extension (heating to allow the DNA polymerase to elongate the DNA strands).
